Applications are invited from experienced project managers for a role carrying out and overseeing work on the manufacturing and inspection of reliability-critical subsea components in the offshore oil and gas industry.
The role requires work in BPP-TECH's offices as well as client representation at manufacturing / construction sites and for installation work. The qualifications and experience requirements are:
Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering degree but would also consider HND Diploma holders with 15-20 years’ experience;
5 to 10 years’ experience in any of manufacturing engineering and processes, quality assurance and quality control, materials and welding engineering, project management or client representation;
Fieldwork experience and the ability to work independently or as part of a larger global team in remote locations;
Willing to travel in UK, Europe and overseas – a driving license is essential;
Ability to manage a small team of engineers and inspectors and with project interfacing and vendor-liaison skills.
Other desirable attributes are an appreciation of machining, welding and shop-floor operations, component-level inspection qualifications or a BOSIET qualification. However, training in these can be provided by BPP-TECH. A competitive salary package including a pension scheme will be offered to successful applicants.
