Mechanical Design
- Our mechanical scope assesses the physical performance, installation dynamics, and structural integrity of subsea cables. We model dynamic cable configurations—including wave profiles, buoyancy arrangements, and bend stiffener interfaces—to evaluate extreme wave loading and dynamic fatigue. Our specialists also perform global mechanical studies for installation limits, seabed stability, and external impact risks such as dropped objects and anchor drag.
